Rockies Opening Day: Hope Springs Eternal for Colorado's Baseball Fans

“You always get a special kick on Opening Day, no matter how many you go through. You look forward to it like a birthday party when you’re a kid. You think something wonderful is going to happen.” – Joe DiMaggio

This year, Rockies fans of all ages will wake on April 1st with that same thrill and wonder and make their way to Coors Field, where the tectonic thrum of 12,500 cheering fans will fill the air and reverberate down the street to The Pig & the Sprout. We’ll be ready to match their excitement and to fill their bellies and mugs before, during, and after the game. The Pig & the Sprout is teaming up with Smokin’ Ace throughout the opener and will have their dogs available on-site and to take home.

The Rockies may be underdogs this year, and some talking heads already counted them out by day one of pitchers and catchers. But hope springs eternal in the hearts of baseball fans. Anything can happen in 2021!
